The 25GBASE-SR SFP28 transceiver delivers 25 Gbps over multimode fiber (MMF) using 850 nm with a duplex LC connector, up to 100 m. It is hot-pluggable, SFP28 MSA-compliant, and supports DDM digital diagnostics.
Typical deployments
25G SFP28 is the server-access building block of modern data centers: one 25G lane per server port, 25G top-of-rack switches, and a clean upgrade path from 10G without re-cabling. SR covers 100 m over OM4 inside the row; LR reaches 10 km for cross-building aggregation.
