Frequently Asked Questions
- Are your QSFP28 modules compatible with my Arista switch?
- We code to the exact switch model and EOS version you send us. Please share them before ordering.
- SR4 or CWDM4 — which should I choose?
- SR4 is cheaper for short multimode runs (up to ~100 m on OM4) but needs MPO cabling; CWDM4-class uses duplex LC single-mode up to 2 km.
- Can I use 100G SR4 for 4×25G breakout?
- Often yes, if the switch port supports breakout mode. Confirm with your switch model; we can supply matching MPO-LC break-out harnesses with your order.
- Do you support DDM on 100G modules?
- Yes, digital diagnostics are supported and readable from EOS.
- What information do you need for a quote?
- Switch model, EOS version, link type and distance, quantity and destination.
